Phoenix hill renovations has offered a wide range of services in the past but due to a higher demand in the field of design/trim carpentry and historic restoration work we have reduced the services we are offering.  Here is a breakdown of the services we continue to offer.

General Contracting Services

Typically Phoenix hill restorations runs the project that we are physically working on but for those of you with sub contractors with whom an existing relationship already exists, we offer General Contracting as a separate service. We will meet with you to establish a work program and then manage the job accordingly with regular meetings to ensure smooth operation and budget management.

Stained Glass Design and Repair

Stained glass is one of those features that can add an artistic flavor to any old home. Whether it is a period piece or something more contemporary, whether it is built new or a restoration piece, we have the ability to both create and service your stained glass needs.

Historic Window Restoration Services.

 Phoenix Hill Restorations will come in and remove your existing single, double hung sashes, have them stripped, glass removed, restored and repainted. We will re install the restored sashes using bronze weather stripping to make your old drafty windows tight and energy efficient. The single glazing of your windows will still need storm windows to help with the efficiency package. We can source custom historic storm windows or link you with a more contemporary style of storm windows.

We also have the skills to repair/replace any number of issues in your historic home or building. This may include trim repair/replacement, door repair/replacement, working on your original floorboards, horsehair plaster repair, siding repair/replacement and many other tasks related to keeping your Historic home energy efficient and beautiful.

Stair Construction/Installation

We can rebuild/restore your existing staircases or construct new staircases on site. If you prefer to have a stair built off site we will prepare the site and install the new staircase/s into your home. Whether you have an architect draw up plans or show us a picture in a magazine we will make sure that you get the desired result.

Doors and Windows

Doors and windows serve many functions in a home. Whether they serve a primarily functional purpose or add character to your older home they need to be maintained and sometimes restored. Phoenix hill restorations can deal with all of your door and window needs. New door/ window replacement, installation of old doors from architectural salvage, hardware replacement, shutter installation.

Complete Trim Carpentry Services

Trim carpentry can completely transform the interior character of a home. If you are a fan of the colonial style, shaker style or something more contemporary, your home will be transformed with  well designed and installed trim details, crown molding, baseboard details, door and window casings. We can discuss the various options available and install to your design or we can come up with a design for you.
